Wetland Walk

Thistle seeds
ready to fly in the sun
We used to call them
'fairy horses.
More here
with the white trumpet
of a convolvulus

Morning dew
caught in a spider web
among the grasses
Wet dandelion
waits for the sun to climb
over the tops of beech trees.

Grasses seed -
Marshland plants still need sun
to propagate.

The seed heads are wonderful at the moment. I saw some dewy cobwebs yesterday but my camera had run out of battery by then. They look so pretty. Have a great holiday

These pics made me think again today. I have noted before how you notice things others don't. I think that comes from being a writer. Small details stick out and must be acknowledged.....
