that is sooooooooo beautiful... remids me of when I was a child, before we had central heating and you would wake as a child and see the paterns on the windows... such delicate fingers of frost

Lovely description of cold-weather artwork!

Thank you both.
Shullie - I remember living in my father's house where there would be 1/4 inch of ice on the inside of the windows in the morning.

I shouldn't even comment I'll be so redundant. This is beautiful though you already know that. :)

Alas that I was not the artist!

gorgeous window. I, too, remember waking up with frost on the inside of the windows at my parents' house and at the one in Matlock Bath. Brrrr, makes me cold to look at it.

Rachel Green said...

I remember it all too well :)
Thanks Gina

So nice to see you here, I miss reading your writing on 6S. This is beautiful and reminds me also of the days before double paned windows. (although I think I might have one that if I go and check could have an icy design on it now) Thanks for sharing the memory.

Thanks mgirl.

I will be back to 6S soon - I've had a manic few months getting "An Ungodly Child" into print!
