her aide de memoir

she touches
a glass ball –
the Taj Mahal in a snowstorm
bought from a trader
that had never seen snow
and never would
an aide de memoir
that proves she was there
and she remembers a holiday
when I was nine and hated the sun.

I bought her Hogwarts –
plastic spires under winter skies
with battery operated lights –
and she swore she'd been there
after St Mary's but before University
and learned witchcraft
at Rowling's knee

Very sweet. Since it made Stephanie cry I'm wondering if it's about her?

Aims - no, it's not, but I suspect she knows someone with memory loss.
